Rollsigns from Port Hope, ON
Dermo Transit Lines operated the earliest bus service in Port Hope, beginning in the
1970s. D.J. Travel Transit Ltd. took over service later that decade. The modern
Port Hope Transit still operates, with assisting services from
Cobourg Transit.
This linen front route sign is off the 1977 "All Canadian"
Blue Bird Transit bus seen below. The sign has no
printed date. It has three exposures.

The image of this sign was drawn virtually perfect to scale.
Former Port Hope Transit, September 1977 built "All Canadian" Blue
Bird transit bus, still displaying the rollsign shown here, is seen in a
vacant lot on Lake St. in Bowmanville, Ontario, November 20, 2002.
