Waterbury, Connecticut The Waterbury Division of CT Transit operates fixed route and ADA paratransit services in the Waterbury area through a contract with the Northeast Transportation Company. Fixed route and paratransit bus service is provided to Waterbury, Watertown, Middlebury, Wolcott, Prospect and Naugatuck. This standard size mylar front rollsign is dated September 28, 1981 from a request sent in to Transign on May 11, 1981. It has 46 exposures. The first exposure, Route 26, was painted on later and isn't original to the rollsign. Its sign tag is seen below. |
New Haven, Connecticut This curb side mega-front mylar rollsign was designed for one of their Flxible 870 model buses. Although this sign is marked for New Haven, it has the routes for the cities of New Haven, Hartford and Stamford. All Flxible buses in all three systems used a two piece front rollsign. The left sign like the one below had the multicolored route letters and the right sign (not shown) had the black and white route names. This sign has a print date of Nov. 28, 1978 and has 73 exposures. |
