Forest Glen Garage, located at 5419 W. Armstrong Ave. backing onto N. Elston Ave between N. Central Ave
and W. Bryn Mawr Ave.,, opened on December 4, 1955. It was originally used for the CTA's electric trolley
buses as well as their propane powered buses from opening until 1973, with their first diesel buses being
allocated in 1970. Geographically it's the furthest northwest garage in the network, and operates to this day.
