Fond Du Lac Garage, located near the center of Milwaukee, is the hub of the system.
It houses the head offices and main repair and maintenance facilities of MCTS.

With the retirement of the remaining GMC new looks in 2000, this brought an end to rollsigns
in active buses in Milwaukee, as their current fleet is 100% electronic destination signs.
These two mylar rollsigns are both off Flxible "New Look" 53102-8-1 (serial #63687) #3029. The curb
side route sign (left) is dated March 10, 1978 and has 38 exposures. The street side sign (right) is
dated March 30, 1978 and has 114 exposures. Their respective sign tags are shown below.
This side route name mylar rollsign is
off a Crown-Ikarus articulated bus. It
has a manufacture date of February
28, 1984. It has 41 exposures.
Its sign tag is shown below.
This front route number mylar rollsign
is off a Crown-Ikarus articulated bus.
It has no manufacture date, but is
suspected it was printed in 1984.
It has 56 exposures.
Even though it doesn't have a print
date, its sign tag is still shown below.
