| Electronic destination sign programs, just like rollsigns, are historic in nature. They can
contain routes or route destinations that can be updated, extended, or discontinued. They offer a glimpse in time of a system's route history based on the programming date of the sign. These electronic sign listings are based off confirmed research through a system's electronic sign memory chips, from program lists provided by the system, or from actual electronic sign programs provided on disk.
